  Dream Giclee [dreamGC]

Giclee print available in quarter size, half size and full size.

Dream piece proves magnetic at Surtex licensing show in New York. Limited addition Giclee's now available!

surtex booth

The picture shows Teri goofing around while she directs our booth setup at one of the premier art and design licensing shows in the country.

We were in a row just to the right of the hall entrance such that the outer edge of the right panel was visible as people entered the hall.

Teri's new Dream piece was placed in the top corner of honor and the rest of the layout flowed from there. See the red arrow in the picture.

We were pretty pleased with ourselves while for three days countless people were drawn to the Dream piece, and so our booth. (When you hang this piece in your home I would be careful about how visible it is from the street.)

As proof of point, from the show and out of all of Teri's work this piece was selected by The New York Graphic Society as Teri's first piece in their Artbeat Poster Collection! The 16 x 20 Dream poster will be available in stores around the country, releasing in October, 2005.

However, if you are interested in something even more special, read on.

Be sure to view the large image to get the overall feel of the piece. The original is acrylic on water color paper. The giclee is archival ink on acid free 100% cotton water color paper, printed at high resolution.

It is common knowledge that we think in pictures. That is easy to understand when we think of physical things like cars, boats and planes. But what does an idea look like? Teri uses letters and words to paint ideas.

I always get to include my .02 cent interpretation for each piece. Feel free to use it as starting point for your own or dismiss it completely. For me, this piece reminds me to act on my dreams. I can't imagine a better reason to own a piece of art.

Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living.

Anais Nin

I should point out that from a technical perspective there is a real paradox at work here. dream closeup Calligraphy as traditionally practiced places great demands on perfect letter forms. The shape of and space between letters is seen as all important. Yet the skill and mind set required to draw perfectly shaped letters tends to restrict and even inhibit the practitioner.

Teri still constantly practices lettering, striving for perfect letter forms. I get that, but how does she completely distort them and yet they are even more lovely?

It's a gift that brings a charged life and energy to her work that is hard to find.

What this lettering says or even if they are words is left to your imagination...

Here is a sampling of what others have to say about Teri's work.

Hi Teri,
Your piece arrived today completely and perfectly intact...you packed it very well! It is absolutely wonderful, stupendous, gorgeous, magnificent and delightful....Shelley will be thrilled and very excited as only Shelley can get. I never thought about asking some friends to go in on the gift but I like that suggestion and will probably look into it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your gift to Shell as well.
Love,
Jeanne

Just confirming delivery, in excellent condition, of the painting I purchased in Los Altos. The packaging was great. I have hung the painting and it is a terrific focal point.
Thank you.

For the first time, I had an opportunity to visit your web page and to view all of the beautiful work that you have created. Wow!!!!! I will have to keep looking to see if and when a painting of yours is available and not sold. I can truly see how you capture inspirational quotes in your work.
With respect,
Marilu Luna

We start the Dream giclee series with the quarter size (16 x 12). 250 prints in the series starting at only $125.00

The half size print at twice the area of the quarter size and again a series of 250 should be $250.00. But we are offering the half size print (22 x 16) for $225.00, a $25.00 savings.

The full size print, 250 in the series, at four times the size of the quarter print should be $500.00 but we're adding an even deeper discount of $75.00 which brings the full size print down to an excellent $425.00.

I cannot guarantee these discounted prices will last. Especially as we close in on the end of each series. Act now. Buy the full size print for the greatest impact!
